Junior Outdoor Target Archery World Championships 2004

On Sunday 18th July Alison Parker and James Mortlock represented the club at the opening ceremony of the Junior Outdoor Target Archery World Championships hosted by GNAS at Lilleshall this year. They carried the new Junior Club Gonfalon. Special guests for the ceremony included Lord Coe ( better known as Sebastian Coe), Dennis Whiteman President of GNAS, Lynne Evans Chairman of GNAS and the President of FITA.

Over 400 archers are took part during the week, the championships ran until 24th July. One local archer took part, Linda Stuart who shoots for the Bowmen of Glen was in the GB team.

Alison and James again represented the club at the closing ceremony of the Junior Outdoor Target Archery World Championships at Lilleshall. The club now has its new Junior Club Gonfalon.
